Louisville Pride Festival Celebrates 10 Years with “Decades: Resistance and Hope Through the Years” Theme

Kentucky’s Largest LGBTQ+ Event Returns on September 6 with Expanded Entertainment & Community Resources

Louisville, KY – February 25, 2025 – The Louisville Pride Festival marks its 10th anniversary on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 11 AM to 10 PM along Bardstown Road in the Highlands. This year’s theme, “Decades: Resistance and Hope Through The Years,” honors the LGBTQ+ community’s resilience, past struggles, and ongoing fight for equality.

“As we celebrate a decade of Louisville Pride, we reflect on the strength of those who paved the way and the vibrant community we continue to build,” said Ebony Cross, Executive Director of the Louisville Pride Foundation. “Despite challenges, we stand firm in hope, unity, and pride.”

Two Stages of Entertainment

• Main Stage: Headlining artists, powerful performances, and the Louisville Pride Awards recognizing impactful leaders.

A Decade of Progress & Pride

Since 2015, the Louisville Pride Festival has grown into one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in the region, drawing over 15,000 attendees annually. More than just a celebration, it has been a force for advocacy, visibility, and community-building.

“This festival is a testament to love, resilience, and unity,” said Cross. “Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are attending for the first time, we invite you to celebrate with us.”
