Join LYG as we watch the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival perform “Shakespeare in Love”. Will Shakespeare has writer’s block, the deadline for his new play is fast approaching, and he’s in desperate need of inspiration, until he finds his muse! This stage adaptation of the 1998 Oscar-winning film features: music, dance, 20 performers, and a dog!

LYG will have a special meet and greet at 7pm with Matt Wallace, artistic director of KY Shakes, so don’t be late!

Food trucks and other activities kick off at 6pm. Performance starts at 8pm.

Performance Running time: Approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, including intermission.

The event is outdoors in Central Park, we recommend bringing:
– a blanket or lawn chair
– water bottle
– snacks, or money for the food trucks (Lexie Lu’s, SnoWhat Snoballs)

Seating is first-come availability, but LYG staff will get there early to claim a spot for our group. Look for our sign when you arrive!
